After confirming the SX2’s tri-light message center has indicated a red light for blown internal
fuse, start by disconnecting the ground terminal on the vehicle’s battery. Be sure to look for
other issues external to the amp that would cause the internal fusing to blow.
Replace the blown internal fuse with same rated fuse that is stated in the owner’s manual
and/or was installed from the factory.
Side Panel Access:
Remove the 4 hex screws
from the right side of the amplifierfrom the right side of the amplifier
Fuse Access & Fuse Removal/Replacement:
After removing the side plate, fuses will be located on the side closest to the terminals/tri-light.
Using needle nose pliers, remove blown fuses and note their values. Only replace fuses with
those of the same value.

the power wire was fused too high. If fused to the correct value, internal fuses should never
blow, as these fuses are fail-safe.
